Gentle Snow

I am not a huge fan of winter. I don’t like the cold, and prefer to stay inside by a warm fire. However, the one thing I do love about winter is the beauty of freshly fallen snow on the ground. This piece was written to be a reflection of that beauty. Freshly fallen snow on the limbs of the tree, sparkling in the winter sun, undisturbed by human footprints. It is truly a stunning thing to experience.

This piece is designed to be playable by a beginning level band. It is a lyrical piece that features simple repeated melodic and rhythmic motifs throughout. This piece is available to purchase directly from
Eighth Note Publications, through JW Pepper, or at your local sheet music retailer.
